In Search of Freedom
2nd year collection
This collection traces the life of a young woman in search of freedom, from birth to her final awakening. The journey is an exploration of her inner transformation, expressed through garments that progressively become lighter, more fluid, and more ethereal as she moves towards independence.
The first silhouette conceals her identity beneath a veil, reflecting a self that has not yet emerged. As the collection develops, structure begins to appear: by the third silhouette, pronounced shoulders embody the birth of self-assertion and independence.
The materials translate this internal struggle. A dress made from crumpled paper evokes the fragility and constraints of birth, layered beneath a transparent silk vest that introduces her gradual search for freedom and a lighter, more independent state of mind.
The collection culminates in layers of transparent silk, creating an almost weightless silhouette. With the sleeves lifted as if preparing to take flight, the final figure represents her liberation. Having shed everything that once confined her, she is finally free to rise.
